Subscriptions & Terms

Basic Terms - Membership in IDC is FREE until the library of fabrics is sufficiently large to support subscription fees. Nevertheless, to sign up and to be assigned a password to the Trade Only area of the site, users must be qualified professionals of the design industry.

Access - All areas of IDC are freely accessible except for Trade Only.

Professional Qualification - The manufacturers we represent require that we initially verify the professional status of each IDC Member. The qualifying member must submit proof of two of the following criteria.

  • Affiliation with any one of the professional organizations for designers/architects such as AIA, ASID, IDEC, IFDA, IIDA, NCIDQ;
  • an active account with at least one design industry manufacturer;
  • academic affiliation with any accredited design or architecture program;
  • a faxed copy of your company letter head or business card;
    • Paid Subscription Membership - At the time IDC reaches 6,000 fabrics in our online library, or six manufacturers, IDC will convert its FREE access over to a paid subscription basis. All FREE members at that time will be notified by e-mail or regular mail of the conversion date.

    Pricing - When IDC converts from FREE membership to a paid subscription basis, the following will apply. The pricing below is based upon fabric information alone. As additional product categories are introduced, they will be individually priced and can be added to your membership access priviledges.
